How to choose the right capsules
Start with intensity – each product card shows a scale from 7 to 10. Lower numbers mean a softer, more arabica-forward coffee for the morning; higher ones a strong after-dinner espresso. In the evening reach for the Decaffeinato versions, and when you fancy something other than plain espresso, try the flavoured capsules. Not sure where to begin? Single tasting capsules let you try a blend before you commit to a larger pack.
Aluminium, plastic and handy pack sizes
The capsules come in both aluminium and plastic. Aluminium protects the aroma of freshly roasted coffee best and is recyclable, while plastic capsules are usually the cheaper everyday option. You can buy them in small packs of 10, and even as single tasting capsules, as well as in multipacks of 50 and 100 – with the larger packs the price per cup drops noticeably.
