Passalacqua has been roasting in Naples since 1948, and it still does it the slow way: small batches, with each origin roasted separately before the blend is put together. The result is an espresso with dense body and a long cocoa finish — a coffee for someone who already knows they like the southern Italian profile.
500 g whole bean
- Black Vulcan — the strongest in the range, distinctly dark and full.
- Gold Vulcan — the balanced version of the same character.
- Harem — a premium arabica-led blend, softer and more aromatic.
- DEUP — the decaffeinated Neapolitan blend.
250 g ground
- Moana and Mexico — 100% arabica in airtight tins.
- Harem — 100% arabica, the ground version of the better-known blend.
- Alambra — the classic Neapolitan profile with robusta, for moka pots and portafilters.
The 500 g bag is smaller than the usual kilo sack, which makes sense for a coffee this aromatic: an open pack is finished before it fades. Everything sits in beans and ground coffee. For similar Neapolitan roasting, see Kimbo and Caffè Borbone. Usually shipped the next working day.
